in addition there are some flora contained in Way Kambas, vegetation type in the park such as; Api-api (Avicennia marina), Pidada (Sonneratia sp.), Nipah (Nypa fruticans), Gelam (Melaleuca leucadendron), Salam (Syzygium polyanthum), Rawang (Glochidion borneensis), Ketapang (Terminalia cattapa), Sea Pine (Casuarina equisetifolia), Pandan (Pandanus sp.), Puspa (Schima wallichii), Meranti (Shorea sp.), Oil (Dipterocarpus gracilis), and Ramin (Gonystylus bancanus).

started in 2000 has enhanced functionality to the Elephant Conservation Centre. Until now Way Kambas has managed to educate and tame elephants around 290 elephants. However, the elephants are trained and still live in PLG at least 65 elepahants. The Wild elephants are trained in the Way Kambas can be used as elephant rides, attractions, transport timber and plow fields.

In Way Kambas can be seen coaches educate and train wild elephants, the attraction of elephants playing football, dancing, shaking hands, draping flowers, tug of war, swimming and many other attractions.

Lampung is a province on the southern island of Sumatra, Indonesia. the north side is bordered by Bengkulu and South Sumatra.
Lampung region was once the territory of the Kingdom of Sunda. when  the Sultanate of Banten destroyed Padjadjaran, the capital of Sunda Kingdom. then Hasanuddin, the first of Banten sultan, inherited the territory of the Kingdom of Sunda. It is described in The Sultanate of Banten posts Claude Guillot on page 19 as follows: "From the beginning it was abviously Hasanuddin's intention to revive the fortunes of the ancient kingdom of Padjadjaran for his own benefit. Lampung ethnic commonly called (Ulun Lampung, Lampung People) on traditionally geographically is the tribe that is occupying the entire province of lampung, and the most of thesouthern of South Sumatra provice  and central regions occupy Martapura, Muaradua in Komering Ulu, Kayu Agung, Tanjung Raja in Ilir Ilir, Merpas in southest Bengkulu and Cikoneng in west coast of Banten.
