My Lovely Hometown, Metro City..

a little bit confused about the today's posting (23 July 2013), thinking than Lampung tourism spots. after several time , finally I decided to write about my hometown, Metro,

maybe several people had not know about Metro City, by its name probably people would assume that the city is a great city, magnificently, lively and very specialy. special if it could be true, but if magnificently, lively and obviously that is wrong, the city with a total area of 68.74 km2 is the smallest city ever.

The actual name of Metro City from the Javanese "Mitro", which means friend (a gathering place for people to be friendship).

And according to the Dutch language "Meterm" which means the center (centrum) is defined as some strategically placed, it is against the backdrop of colonization that come from various regions outside the region of Sumatra. At the time of independence the name of Metro is remained Metro. With the enactment of Article 2 of the Peraturan Peralihan Undang Undang Dasar 1945 than Metro become the District is headed by a regent in 1945, which at that time, the first Regent who served is Burhanuddin (1945-1948).

Metro is just not a place to earn a living for its citizens. the District people is directly adjacent to this area, as Central Lampung and East Lampung, making a living by trading and selling services. Therefore, in the daytime the population of Metro is more than the real population.

Metro commercial centers scattered in several places. Trade goods, clothing, textiles, electronics, and other secondary goods, can be found in the Shopping Center and Cendrawasih Market. For motoring enthusiasts the Sumur Bandung is a shopping complex where hunting automotive parts and accessories. There is also a commercial center as early in the morning in the Ganjar Agung and 16c the places that selling vegetables and other agricultural commodities. in Sumur Bandung shopping complex can be found Chandra Supermarket.

Metro also known as Education City. Every morning public transports from Central Lampung and East Lampung are filled with students which studying in this city. And at the daytime after school. Urban transportation spread across the region to facilitate the mobility of Metro residents.

To support Metro as educational city, the government had built a library building in the central of the city. The building is equipped resource library and air conditioning. Built in 2002 and now operates.the library is founded by district budget is the first step a long-term supply of education services for the surrounding district.

the another interesting place at Metro City is City Park Or also called Taman Perjuangan, actually this park will be filled with visitors during the weekend, there are many communities gathered from a variety of community activities such as motorcycle enthusiasts, cars, or football fans club and certain bands lover.

that's a short story of my hometown, i'll be waiting for your coming for visit us......

The Original Tastefull Lampungnese Sauce..... "TEMPOYAK!!!!!!"

Taste of Tempoyak was surly, because the fermentation process in the durian flesh as the materials. Tempoyak known in Indonesia (especially in Palembang, Lampung and Kalimantan) and Malaysia. In Palembang, this food is eaten with chicken. In Lampung, Tempoyak is used as seruit ingredients in a dish or mixture in the sauce.

In addition, durian also contains vitamins B1, B2, and C, as well as potassium, calcium, and phosphorus. Tempoyak itself had higher levels of lactic acid bacteria (LAB) are high. Lactic acid bacteria are bacteria used to ferment and cause a sour taste in Tempoyak.

Tempoyak dough is made by preparing meat durian, either local or monthong, but for monthong is not priority because it contains gas and water overmuch. Selected durian for tempoyank is labored ripely, which is usually watery look. Then the durian flesh separated from the seeds, after that put a bit of salt. Once completed, then added with cayenne pepper can speed up the fermentation process. However, the fermentation process can not be too long because it will affect the final taste.

Besides eaten with rice, Tempoyak often made sauce or mixed with fish, such as Pindang Patin Tempoyak, Pepes Ikan Mas, or cooked with anchovy or tilapia fish. Acid flavor is perfect with savory flavors and spicy chili fish. If you do not believe, prove it! Be prepared if hooked by it delish!
